In next step we will add some color to lips. Create new layer, choose red color and use Brush tool. Paint on the new layer like you can see on picture below. If you are done choose Overlay mode and decrease opacity a bit. If you paint over the lips you can adjust it with Smudge tool.
Now select face layer. We will cut the face to smaller pieces. This takes most of the time. I will use pen tool for selecting – make sure that you have set there Path option. But you can use any selecting tool. In first step I will cut face to 2 basic pieces.
Using pen tool is easy but you need pactice. Every time you create new point hold the mouse button and move with mouse. This provides you nice curves. If you are done with one point hold ALT key and click on the point. It is because you want to avoid any unwanted curves. Every time you want to edit some point press and hold CTRL and then you can move with any point of path you have created.
If you are done finish the circle because we want to create selection from this path. When you have ended the circle with right mouse click choose Make selection. This will select half of face.
With shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+J cut face into 2 pieces (this shortcut I will use often in this tutorial)
