Interesting Face manipulation Photoshop tutorial

Go down in layers menu and create there new layer. Then select Gradient Tool Create i.e. gradient like is on the picture below.

Use Radial Gradient to do something like on picture below. Then add black layer mask to this layer.

Now choose Brush Tool. Select one from splatter brushes (you can these brushes here: http://www.deviantart.com/art/Hi-Res-Splatter-PS-Brush-Set-163129947)
Set white color on the brush and paint on the background.
