Go up now. Find and select i.e. layer with eye piece. I will add there shadow. Right click on layer and choose Blending options Click on Drop Shadow and set it like me.
You can use these shadow settings on all pieces by this way.
You can copy this layer style – right click on layer and choose Copy layer style
Then choose your layer and Paste layer style. In next step I will add color gradient on piece besides the shadow. Right click on layer – go to Blending options - Firstly add shadow.
Now check gradient overlay.You can use color settings as you have created before.
Uncheck Align with layer and select Radial style then set Soft light mode and don’t forget to decrease opacity.
I will also add color gradient on this biggest piece but with very low opacity.
So If you have added shadows on all layers and soft light gradients on some layers the result will be something like this:
