In this tutorial you will learn two ways how to create your own vector backgrounds. In second part of this tutorial you will learn how to create your own brush preset.

Any time you find yourself using a symbol repeatedly, you can define it as a brush and you’ll always have it handy. Follow my videotutorial to define a custom brush in Photoshop.

If you have finished with your work and you have collected a lot of Photoshop brushes, you will want to get to know the Preset manager. The Preset Manager in Photoshop can be used to load, organize, and save all your custom content and presets for brushes, swatches, gradients, styles, patterns, contours, custom shapes and tool settings.

At the top of the Preset Manager you will find a menu for selecting the specific preset type you wish to work with. Below, you will see a preview of that particular preset type. By default, the Preset Manager will show small thumbnails of the presets. To the right are some buttons for loading, saving, renaming, and deleting presets.

I will create new brush set from created vector brushes.

Click on the little gear wheel in Brush tool and select Preset Manager.

This window will show up:

With holded CTRL key select brushes you want to save and click on Save Set. And save set as .abr file.
