I have separated this tutorial in to two parts because is a quite long, so you can have a coffee break during watching :).

But back to the point. Besides that you will learn from this tutorial how to manipulate with photos to achiveve great final results, you will also learn how to work with lights, shadows, camera raw filter, brushes, masks etc. because this long tutorial is complex tutorial. First step is to Create new document (File->New). After that Create new layer and delete locked layer. Fill new created layer with black color using Paint Bucket tool.

Open your face picture now. With Magnetic Lasso tool start with face selecting.
Note that you do not need to be very precise as you can see on picture below.

When you are done with selecting press Ctrl+j to cut out face from the picture then
Select Move tool and drag the face to created new document so it will looks like on picture below.
